Autumn fruiting raspberries can be cut to the ground now. This coming years crop will be produced on the current seasons canes.
For a longer cropping period, leave some canes uncut. This will result in fruit being produced on last years wood but earlier in the season.
Summer fruiting raspberies should not have the new wood pruned out (just old fruited canes) as they fruit on last seasons wood.
A good mulch of well rotted stable manure will benefit the pruned raspberries.
